Smith knocked out Perez after ten rounds but this amazing win was difficult for the invincible Dexter Smith. Anyway, Perez was on his way a morgue so won't come back. Dexter Smith was quoted as saying, "That guy didn't know what beat him." The guys had instances showing speed and recovery but Smith had higher speed. Accordingly Perez lost the event. After the eighth round Dexter Smith dug into Elvis Perez's mouth. The announcers had never noticed Dexter quit. However, Perez overcame in moments of adversity. Perez admitted he didn't work hard here.
