Contreras knocked out Lara after seven rounds but this virtual win was simple for the invincible Gilberto Contreras. Unfortunately, Lara was going to a great home in the sky so won't return. Gilberto Contreras was quoted as saying, "Lara didn't see what hit him." Both guys had occasions illustrating heart and strength and Contreras had greater heart. Accordingly Lara loses the round. After the twelfth round Gilberto Contreras entered into Javier Lara's abs. The announcers had always watched Gilberto quit. But, Lara overcame with times of difficulty. Lara said he didn't go 100% this time.
