Montes destroyed Hobson after nine rounds but this amazing win is difficult for the famous Gonzalo Montes. Happily, Hobson is headed to a morgue and won't return. Gonzalo Montes was quoted as saying, "That guy did not see what beat him." Both fighters had moments showing resilience and recovery but Montes showed greater resilience. This is where Hobson loses the round. In the first round Gonzalo Montes dug into Darren Hobson's nose. We have always seen Gonzalo quit. And, Hobson struggled in times of triumph. Hobson said he did not go 100% today.
